About Us

Essential Tremor is a neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands while performing everyday tasks such as eating, dressing, and writing that affects millions of people in America and around the world, including the founder of Essential Tremor Products, Brent Booker.

Booker was diagnosed with essential tremor 32 years ago at the age of 14. While his progression has been slow, Booker has witnessed how the condition’s progression has quickly taken a toll on his aging father, who also has essential tremor.

Booker began looking for devices and products to help him and his father with everyday tasks and was met with frustration when he realized there wasn’t one, comprehensive place he could go to find what he was looking for. After jumping from website to website, he realized that other people living with ET were probably just as discouraged as he was that there was no one company or website offering products specifically targeted to the ET community.

More than 10 million people in the United States and 75 million people worldwide struggle with essential tremor and until now, there was no singular place that they could go to find products that catered to their specific needs and lifestyle.

Booker created Essential Tremor Products in 2019 as a central hub of products and solutions for those living with ET. Essential Tremor Products is meant to be a resource for those living with ET. It can help you find products that assist with things like buttoning a shirt or comfortably eating with a utensil, but it is also a platform by which companies can reach out to us to become valued partners. If you are the maker or distributor of a product that helps essential tremor patients, we want to hear from you.

Additionally, we are committed to providing news and updates on essential tremor, as well as championing the search for a cure through funding and other efforts.

Essential Tremor Products is a place where you can find community, along with essentials you can purchase today for a better tomorrow.
